Your private driver-guide will meet you at the airport arrivals gate with a name board and help with your luggage. A short 25-minute drive takes you to your coastal hotel in Negombo. After your flight, use the rest of the day to rest by the pool, walk along the beach, or adjust to the local time zone.

Overnight stay at Negombo.

After breakfast, depart Negombo and head into the central hills towards Kandy. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, home to giant Javan fig trees, royal palm avenues, and a large orchid collection. Later, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth by the edge of Kandy Lake before settling into your hillside hotel.

Drive south into the high-grown tea district. The road climbs through winding mountain passes lined with terraced tea fields and roadside waterfalls. Visit an active tea factory to see how fresh leaves are withered, rolled, and sorted, and sample fresh Ceylon black tea. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya in time for an afternoon walk around Gregory Lake in the fresh mountain air.

Descend the southern slopes of the central hills towards the coastal highway. You will reach the golden beaches of the south coast by early afternoon. The rest of the day is completely free for you to relax by the ocean, swim, or watch the sunset over the sea.

Overnight stay at Bentota / Galle.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast overlooking the ocean. Depending on your flight departure time, your driver-guide will transfer you directly to Colombo International Airport via the Southern Expressway in plenty of time for your flight check-in.
